The stage and development of the F-35 Lightning-II (JSF) was quite classified for many years.
Now that The Netherlands decided to buy the plane, we were able to have a view in the cockpit and get information from Billie Flynn.
Billie is a Canadian testpilot of the F-35, now doing a tour with the F-35 simulator
This way we could have a look at the insode, and 'see the F-35 fly' in it's digital world.
So... this is it ??  yes, it is ! A screen with several underlaying screens, just as if it is a super-game at home.
Nothing special you might think, and to be honest, we don't think that all features are mounted in this simulator.
After all, something has to remain 'Top-Secret'.
But it gives us a nice view about this new plane. Everything can be exchanged modular, and built in in the followong decades....
..... as it happened with the F-16 which was a continuating process of updates and developments

Make no mistake, there's a long road to go still, but problems will be solved and the 'Stage of Perfection' will come soon.
This fine machine will replace the F-16 the coming years, and secure our acquired freedom !
